The Livingston Pavilion for Subacute Care at St. Johnland Nursing Center
The Livingston Pavilion for Subacute Care at St. Johnland Nursing Center offers subacute care, short-term rehabilitation and complex medical care treating a wide range of patients recovering from accidents, injury, surgery or illness following hospitalization. Our comprehensive rehabilitation therapies, along with medical, nursing and social programs, enable patients to recover and return home as quickly as possible.
State of-the-Art Rehab Gym
Intensive physical, occupational and speech therapies are provided in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym where patients utilize the latest hi-tech rehab equipment. Our occupational therapy kitchen and adaptive devices allow patients to return to activities-of-daily-living and regain mobility and independence.
The Livingston Pavilion boasts beautifully decorated rooms with handsome furniture, rich wood floors, cable television and telephone service. Our internet café features computers as well as a coffee lounge for greater socialization and communication.
St. Johnland provides a healthy dining menu offering a wide variety of appetizing dishes served in our subacute dining room. Recreational, therapeutic, and cognitive activities are offered to all patients and include music, arts and crafts, board games, word games, video horse racing and trips in our own handicapped-accessible van.
The Livingston Pavilion for Subacute Care, a 24-bed unit with a separate entrance, is located on the picturesque campus of St. Johnland Nursing Center. Our dedicated unit offers a perfect blend of state-of-the-art technology and skilled professionals who enable patients to achieve their recovery goals.

St. Johnland is the premier provider on Long Island of skilled nursing care with specialties in Alzheimer’s / dementia, head injury rehabilitation, subacute care, and adult day care.
