Development

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

St. Johnland Nursing Center, Inc. (includes SNF, Assisted Living, Licensed Home Care Agency)

The Director of Development is responsible for managing all special events, including working with Board members, volunteers and vendors, establishing budgets and timelines for the Gala and Golf Outing and all smaller events. Applicant must have excellent verbal and written skills to produce the annual report, appeals, newsletter, all brochures and printed materials and maintain the website. Government, corporate and foundation grant writing is a priority. Applicant must work effectively with the CEO, Trustees, Development Chair, Advisory Board, department heads and other constituencies and manage outreach to local community and civic groups, media contacts. Applicant will create and follow through with annual development and advertising plans. Donor stewardship, management and recognition are extremely important.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master Degree preferred.

Experience: 5+ years in healthcare industry preferred

ADULT DAY CARE

Director of Adult Day Care

St. Johnland Nursing Center is seeking a qualified Program Director for our Social and Medical Adult Day Programs. The Director will be responsible for the administration of the total program; operational, fiscal and reporting components. This position is part of the key leadership of our community programs.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing or a related discipline required.
  • Master’s (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supervisory role of Adult Day Care programs.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Able to provide effective direction for our person-centered programs.
  • Needs to demonstrate effective management skills,
  • Able to develop and implement strategies, plan for community relations that will broaden awareness of the community programs.
  • Effective knowledge of Medicaid Program, including HCBS Waiver.
  • Strong knowledge of various MLTC insurance plans, including contracts, authorizations, single case agreement and case management.
  • Experience of running and maintaining a high volume skilled census.
  • Strong knowledge of UAS, Patient-Centered Care Planning, individualized Service Plan, with a strong emphasis of providing quality care.

Primary duties are maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents, visitors and staff.  Responsibilities include all areas of housekeeping and laundry services.  Snow removal during season.  Floor maintenance experience preferred.

Required to work holidays and E/O weekend.  Varied days and shifts.
